Clancy's delivers great service and food. White table cloths and tuxedo clad waiters make this a perfect dining experience. The fried oysters with Brie is a great starter. Follow up with the smoked chicken and sausage gumbo. But you're not done yet. Entrees are all fabulous especially the crab meat salad and daily fish option. Wine list is extensive and cocktails served perfectly. Leisurely dining at its best.

After going to Nola for 35 years for business, Bar none best restaurant in Nola (gallatoires still on my list for historical reasons, but not the same) Old school class and phenomenal food and service. Not easy to get to if there on business downtown but worth the effort. Soft shell crab, veal, bread pudding all a 10. Family owned neighborhood place and staff there for years.....wish I had a place like this in my town. Kudos, this is not a restaurant you will find normally.....GO!

Amazingly authentic and every dish exceeded my expectations. Our waiter was super attentive and knowledgeable with great recommendations. We had the fried oysters, jumbo and I had the pork chop. All are a must

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with joyful hospitality. The hostess, the waiters, everyone working behind the scenes are all so friendly! It's wonderful spot for lunch and dinner with an ever changing menu! I think that may be my favorite part! That way you know you are always getting the freshest food possible. Most of my party started with either the Turtle soup or crawfish gumbo with a fancy deviled egg! I got to try both and as excepted it was delicious! For my second course I ordered the veal with creole tomato and an herb demi, it came with cauliflower, pan seared okra and mash! I fell in love! Everything was excellent but that okra was one of the best I've ever had! My fiancé ordered the chicken fried ribeye with red eye gravy! He said it was the best chicken fried steak he had ever eaten! They even made a special order for our picky son! He got the chicken tenders and fries, which I tired of piece of and that was also perfection! We were seated upstairs! The stairs are a little steep but we loved the actual restaurant! You can tell it may have been a house at one time that they converted! All in all excellent place! The prices were reasonable for it being more a a fine dining place! I wish I would have taken pictures of all of our food but it was so good, we ate it up before I could think about it!
